  • Last Christmas Thing You Bought?

What was the last Christmas thing that you bought? For me, it was a gift for my friend. I sometimes buy little decorations last minute, but I didn't this year.

I went to the post office a couple days ago and then decided to run across the street to the place that sells coffee beans and specialty teas. I usually just get my coffee beans, quick in and out, when I spotted an ornament. I bought a purple and chartreuse green ornament for the future tree that I will be doing in peacock colors of purple, green and blues. I also found a white and silver cross to add to the gift I got for one of my sisters. They are both quite large, about 8" each.

When I was on holiday in Vancouver I bought some ornaments for my future trees, gold, white, and silver tree next year; a future peacock tree; blue, silver & white tree; and a cardinal tree. I also bought a few just because I liked them but I am not sure what I will do with them.

The polar bear and the owl are gifts from my sister-in-law and I got the rest at the Christmas Market. The lace ornaments are from Germany and the glass ornaments are from Egypt.

Those are all beautiful marie. I have about 10 of the gold butterflies I use on my gold tree and about 6 of the gold and pink butterflies for my pink tree which i used this year. In fact the pink butterflies were among the last things i bought this year.

Holy cow those are amazing! I was looking at some clearnced ornaments today online. I like to buy them and put one on each gift. These ones (the flat lighter ones) always look so cute and people can put them on their trees

I actually just picked up a ton of last minute deals with decor this morning. Someone I know held the items for me behind the register till I got paid. I got some lights and a few other odds and ends things. Just packing them right away till next Christmas! No need to keep them out.

Mariem - those peacocks are beautiful!

I went to the first of 2 annual craft shows that me & my sisters / mom / nieces attend last weekend and I got a few things, but nothing really Christmas-y. A stained glass cross for my mother-in-law. An upcycled scarf made of old t-shirts (with a gingerbread man on one side & sequined NAUGHTY on the other) Some snowflake earrings.

Maybe I'll find something at the one this weekend.
Glitter is like the herpes of all holidays - once you have it, you can't get rid of it!!!

I've been buying people, animals, and bottle brush trees for my Christmas Village.
