You can do a Google search for "virtual christmas projection effects" and compare prices and selection from different sites.
I also make a lot of my own effects. I am not talented enough to actually create an animated video such as Virtual Santa. But I like to make window scenes that are festive and fun. It is really easy too. One example: I went online and downloaded 5 or 6 video clips of things like animated christmas balls falling from the sky, animated xmas trees, snowflakes dancing, etc. I edited them to the length I wanted and put them on a DVD. I pop it in my laptop and project it onto my window screen. Each year I make a new Happy New Year DVD with fireworks and alternating text like Welcome 2017, Happy New Year, etc.
Another idea I had last year but did not have time to finish setting up is to run a movie such as A Charlie Brown Christmas nonstop in my window and have the audio speakers in my front yard near the road. The video part was no problem but I did not get the audio set up in time. Obviously no one is going to stand there and watch the whole movie but it lends a christmas feel to the yard display.
