  • website that lists radio stations that have gone all Christmas

Greetings all. This website lists all the radio stations in the country that have started playing Christmas music around the clock.
Of course there are no stations on it right now .. but give it another month ...

Music Choice is now playing Christmas in July. But it is different this year than last year. They are playing the hip-hop and pop versions to please the millennials. They say you can go on their Music Choice app and look up the All Xmas to listen to the classics. I could not find it.

No idea. I'm hoping it's one of those bankruptcies in name-only. Or at least that new owners will just take over and things continue as normal.

Sad news. But I'm sure other companies will buy up whatever stations they might have to sell.

Just checked out their website, and it looks like KC is one of the few cities where Iheartmedia don't have a station.

Iheartradio actually has several Christmas stations! Some are 24/7. Some only work close to the holiday. Here's the list:

This is where I got it from :

NorthPine.com usually features a list for the Upper Midwest. Beyond that, BRS Media has a list of streams (which, at this point, would still be mostly online-only) at http://webradio.fm/Christmas.

Thank you for the information Eric.

Apparently the website that listed what stations went all Christmas (stationintel) is no longer creating the list.

I looked around the web and came up with this info to share with everyone.

For the third time this decade, Equity Communications Soft AC “Easy 93.1” WEZW Wildwood Crest NJ has become the first station nationally to make the move to Christmas Music.

Making the change with temperatures in the mid-70’s, WEZW was also first to make the move in 2011 and 2014. Stations preparing for new format launches expedited the timetables the last two years as SummitMedia’s 100.1 W261BX Birmingham was first on 9/25/2015 and Earls Family Broadcasting’s 1220 KCAX/98.1 K251BZ Branson MO began on October 2, 2016. When it was first in 2014, WEZW made the move on the third Friday in October just like this year.

No stations near me yet. Probably won't for another couple of weeks.

Hope you have a station near you to listen to.

I wish I had more than one option, because the one station that's gone all-Christmas seems to have more air time with commercials or talking than music. Reminds me why I almost never listen to commercial radio anymore.
