  • montgomery ward's santa

I dont know how rare this is but i went to goodwill this last winter and i baught a motionette santa and it had the montgomery tape on the top of the box. Someone had customized him buy gluing his sack on his hand and orderments on his sack but what it is is a santa with a dog and his hand is moving up and down as if he is saying to the dog to drop his bag. The reason i say this is a store display is because on the inside of the box someone wrote USE AS STORE DISPLAY on the inside and someone worte SANTA on the bottom of the box. This santa is straight out of the 80's and i had to supply the plush dog but i own a identical plush of it. I also had to repair the arm as it got loose out of place. if anyone knows anything about him that would be nice but for now he sits as a display in my dad's electronics shop as a piece of history.

Last month I found a Coca-Cola animated Santa that stand 3-feet tall. It came out back in 1991. It does not work all that well and I was wondering if it can be repaired.

Yes it can be repaired it mostly needs a new motor. it usually takes a microwave turntable motor but it can be hard to find one unless you have the model number. if there are rivets holding the motor in place you need to drill those out and if it has wood or plastic base you will need pliers to get out the giant bolts of there metal of there plastic i usually melt down the plastic a little bit do i can get to the staples.
