Not sure if this is possible or not..but I know there are alot of you haunters here that are mechanically prop-making inclined - I was thinking of making a winter prop for my front yard - heres what I was thinking - to make it look like two snowmen are having a snowball fight - I can think of how to make the snowmen and I am thinking a foam ball on a line (fishing line ) over head with some sort of pulley to make it go back and forth. Not sure if that makes any sense to anyone...I can picture it in my head but to explain it is a different thing..lol.
Well - just thinking this prop would probably only look right it there is snow..right! Hmmm oh well any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Put up the snow men and do a set up similar to an axworthy ghost but just use white styrofoam balls. You could make arms and put them on wiper motors so they would rotate in a throwing motion. And then,Oh wait, prolly goin tooo far HUH?:D

Also, depending on the type of weather you normally get, you could probably lay down some sort of tarp or fabric, and stake it down to the grown, but not flat -- more wrinkled to look like snow. Or glue batting or something similar to a tarp? Just throwing ideas out.

Of course, no ball would have to actyually be thrown if you set it in each snowman's hand and use the wiper motors to move the arms back and forth.

I know WomyT did something like that, but she has it in her crypt. I made a snowball fight thing, but it was with lights.
