Reece cup delights (not sure of actual name, but love them anyway)

One brownie mix (your favorite one)
A bag or two of the miniture reece cups
mini muffin liners

Prepare brownie mix per box instructions and preheat oven according to the box. Spoon brownie mix into mini muffin liners until about 1/2 to 3/4 full. Unwrap one reece cup and place in middle of brownie mix and push down until brownie mix is up to the same level of the top of the reece cup. Bake until edges of brownie are slightly hard to the touch. I think I remember this as taking about 10 minutes, been a year since I made them and I always make them from memory.

This are a big hit every year at our family get togethers and in the cookie tins I prepare and send out. Very yummy!

This also makes great large or small loaves and mini muffins. Excellent for breakfast!

Peanut Butter Cookies

1 1/4 cups all purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup peanut butter (smooth or chunky)
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Combine dry ingredients and set aside. Cream together butter, peanut butter and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix thoroughly. Add dry ingredients, mix thoroughly. Cover and refridgerate for at least 2 hours. Roll chilled dough into 1 inch balls. Dip tops of dough balls into sugar and place on cookie sheet 2 inches apart, mash dough balls with a fork in a criss cross design. Bake in a 325 degree oven just until the edges start to turn golden (cookies will puff up and then flatten out). Allow to cool slightly before removing from cookie sheet or use parchment paper and simply slide the whole sheet off to cool.

I use colored sugars on the tops for different seasons.
