Father in law gave me this last night. He'd told me a few weeks ago that he bid and won it at an auction.

Well what do ya know... it works when smarter folks step in. LOL Thanks again Sickie Ickie. But I have to tell ya this isn't my first try. Went to 'go advanced' to post so I could preview what would happen. Ended up with a lot of red X's LOL. On this older windows system I have to highlight the address. Right click. Click on select all. Right click again and click on copy. Then add it to a post. It wasn't showing the entire address.
The back of the box is cool. Has that 1950's early 60's look to it. Hopefully I'll be able to find out how old this is.

Cool score Putrid! Reminds me of those rotating aluminum trees with color changing flood lights. Very 60's...

Having been a child in the 60's - I agree it looks like the 60's style packaging, What I rmemberof garland before that, it was smaller in diameter, it is excellent it is the box yet, Good find Putrid! ( I also am techno- challanged, Putrid!!)

I've just learned along teh way out of necessity. LOL
Garland is good stuff! The old stuff and cheap stuff sheds a lot, but is still fun!

Thanks everyone. And thanks again for the help Sickie Ickie.
Bethene, This garland is not as full as the good stuff you'd buy today. It's more the diameter of the cheepy $1 stuff but not flat at all. The dull color shows it's age plus how well it's made. Wont take it out of the box so don't know if it'll shed. I'm guessing the 49 up in the corner on the front of the box is the price. It's written with a wax or 'china' marker not ink.
Spookineer, I have an aluminum tree, color wheel and a rotating stand. It's the original pre-lit tree! LOL Hopefully next year I'll be more organized and get it up as well.
