I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for xmas dinner favors, I was going to order some christmas tree ornament with some fancy wrapping, but this year I find myself getting way behind (procasinating). So its too late to order the items, so I am trying to think of something I could make up on my own!
The theme is winter wonderland w/blue and white and silver.
I thought about silver kisses wrapped up in tulle or basket wrap with blue ribbon and white snowflakes, but I am open to any other ideas or suggestions!!:)
Thanks in advance!

One Christmas Dinner that I hosted I bought a bunch of those party blow horns and put chocolate candies inside of them and then covered the opening with similar color wrapping paper and placed them on the dinner plates at the table. it looked very festive and everyone enjoyed the candy after dinner and the kids got to play with the blow horns afterwards. with New Years fast approacing you can find them in silver blue and white. if not you can also cover a thin cardboard or paper stock in wrapping paper of your choice and roll them up in to a cone shape. this year I'm planning to make mini little Santa hats and mini stockings out of felt and fill them up with candies. very easy to make and no sewing required if you use a glue gun. hope this helps:)

Thanks Nancj - I like the horn idea! :-) I did the little stockings one year (with the glue gun also) - they turned out really cute I used them to put the knifes and forks in and added a candycane!

Hey, if anyone needs colored hot glue, don't forget- I sell it for cheap. :)

You could get a paint marker and write names on a silver or blue ball ornament -- use it as a place marker, (maybe in a wine glass so it doesn't roll, or on the napkin) and also as a gift if you add a nice looking ribbon and maybe the date or a design or saying on the other side?

You could also do these, made by xmaslilly. They were just posted on my project site, and the names are just pins so they can be pinned on anything.

Of course, she paints the pins, but colored hot glue from me may be better. :p
