For me, I need music! My friend is England's answer to Buble (but better!) and on his facebook page ( http://www.facebook.com/duncanmorissinger ) he is doing a Christmas music Advent calendar, a countdown of great Christmas songs! It's a great way to get in the spirit, you should like his facebook page and share it on yours!

I also make a Christmas CD each year to give out to my friends, with different songs each time, to help them get in the mood!

What are your tips to get all Christmassy?! (don't forget to like and share Duncan Moris' fan page!)

I like to make things, right now I am making Martha Stewart's paper ornaments with old Christmas Cards from work. http://www.marthastewart.com/273222/holiday-card-ornaments You can get the large hole punch from Hobby Lobby or Michaels, 1-1/2" hole works well.

Also eggnog and bourbon bring in the cheer as well....

Vince Geraldi's Charlie Brown Christmas music for sure. And the the spirit starts to get layed on thick when we put up the tree. That usually includes some white russians and watching Charlie Brown Christmas Special (always pausing to dance like that one beatnik kid in the scene where they all just dance). Usually the Grinch gets put on after that, but this year we did Colbert Christmas.

Still saving up A Christmas Story and Home Alone until the timing is perfect... :D

Music, music and more music, eggnog, all the favorite movies, looking at the ornaments as we take them out.

The Christmas Spirit is slow to find me this year! I've done the eggnog. I rooted thru all the tubs in the garage & only pulled about about half of my decorations. I enjoy looking at lights. However, I still can't turn my radio onto the 24/7 Christmas station yet. The occasional song is OK, tho. We watched Rudolph & A Year Without Santa Claus tonight.

I'm still not really feeling it. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME???????

I need to "enhance" my eggnog.
