Hermey yes those are giraffe's on the roof. They were the only things that would fit up there. Next year I would like Santa and the reindeer up there.

Fanastic display!!! There are so many parts that I like, but my favorite has to be the vintage cutouts, the snow family and the Santa, Mrs. Claus, sleigh and enough reindeer to go down the entire block.

Super display!!!

Chris how many days did this take you and how many helpers. Heck we started Thanksgiving day, its now Sunday and we only have 1/4 of our stuff out and we had nice sleeveless weather and I see that you have snow which would have s-l-o-w-e-d me way down.
We only have 2 of doing the decorations rest of the gang make themselves scarce

Daisy I start in September outlining the roof and sidewalls just me doing the work. The snow melted in time so I could wire up everything.
Edwin there is still plenty of time!
Joe thank you I will be putting them in my yard next year just took awhile to finish them.

OK I got some pic's last night

Your little display houses are still my favorite of all your decorations. I just love them. Everything looks wonderful.

The more I think about this the more I wonder...where in the world did you find those giraffe? They are so totally cool.

Did you paint your pvc fence, or tape them? Beautiful as always, my friend!

chris
11-29-2011, 05:49 AM
JW I got the Giraffe's from Home Depot after Christmas.

Grinch lol...I ran cords from my house to his I just wait till he go's to bed then I hit the switch:)

Sickie I used red duct tape it holds better through the cold, snow and storage. I also found it to be more cost effective and less time consuming to make. And before buying new PVC pipe and fittings try a Habitat for Humanity to get a better price.

The RMF field from all the lights on his house and yard is enough to power the lights across the sidewalk. JK LOL

That is amazing dude. Totally cool!

WOWZAAAAAA!! This is incredible! We take the kids every year to several commercial displays and this rivals them for sure!

HaHa My three-year old was on my lap and said "We need one of those big Christmas soliders Mommy!" I like the way that kid thinks!
