Rockin' Reindeer How-To

I modified a wire frame reindeer last Christmas by removing the stock 3 RPM motor and replacing it with a 30 RPM Gear Motor. The result was my Rockin' Reindeer.
I finally finished writing up a how-to for it so I could submit it to Santa's Projects.

Where did you get the motor? Is it plug and play like the motor that comes on the deer? I could use some of those for props that the normal motor is just to slow (the motor you took off is great for FCG).

Also, it seems LOUD when you get close in the video - how bad is it as far as noise?

I ordered this motor from SurplusCenter.com last year. I don't think it is still available from them, but they may have something similar in stock.
No, it's not plug and play. I had to solder my own AC power cord to it and also fabricate a way to mount it on the deer.
I guess it is kind of loud (like most gear motors), but I don't really notice the noise when the deer is outside.
