Picture loading

I just got word that some people are having trouble loading pictures into their albums. Glitches are still being worked out, however the uploader is an advanced flash uploader. I'm told that some browsers may not recognize this and there is a way to switch that to a basic uploader which should work okay.

I've tried a couple times and I can't get pictures to upload into an album or as an attachment in a post. I, too, have no idea how to switch to a basic uploader.

when the fancy uploader is loaded, there is a little box in the lower right hand corner ( I think thats where it was ) that says basic uploader. Click it and you can upload one photo at a time, I on the other hnad can do that , but not figure out how to link or post pics in a thread

Thanks for the answer LaBruja. You said the correct info before I got to it! :D

To make a link in a thread, in the reply box you'll see a little world with what looks to be a pop tab over it (supposed to be a chain link, but we can't win'em all.) Highlight your word, click on that little picture in the bar and put in your link. The word will be then be hyperlinked to your url.

To post a pic in a thread, in the rply box you'll see a picture in the bar with 4 dots around it. Click on it and enter the url of your image.

I"m jumping threw hoops to get pics to go where they're needed. I have to use the basic to upload them. Then click off the site completely. Then go back to the site, to my albums, to upload pictures. The pictures that I uploaded earlier will be in the home folder I drag them to the attachment window and THEN they appear in the folders window where I can rename them and choose what album I want to put em in. That was a puzzle to figure out for sure. LOL
