View Full Version : Need help naming a Snowman Band

Our display this year includes a lot of snowman. One group is a small 3 snowman band/trio; one snowman on bass (cello), one on trumpet and the third is playing a violin. They stand on a stage about 6' wide x 4' high curtain and it's about 18" off the ground. Sorry I don't have a picture of it (I know that would help); but the whole stage is covered until I'm ready to turn the lights on.

Anyway, so it dawned on me that who better than the CFC creative genius to assist in naming the band. I would like the name of the snowman band to be a variation of an existing popular band. For example, instead of Three Dog Night (wow, I'm dating myself)...Three Snowman Night; get the idea. Tweak an existing bands name so it is still recognizable.

TIA posters!!!!!

OMG, there are so many great names. They're outstanding. I knew there would be a good one or two, but I never dreamed there'd be so many super names to choose from. Now I have the opposite problem. I went from not having a single one to too many to pick from. But what a great problem.

Thank you!!! Thank you!!!!!!!!!!

You could use Craig's method and start a poll. Then you wouldn't have to choose. LOL

I think I'll ask the CEO her thoughts and get some input from my teenage kids. Use them to narrow it down. then a poll is a possibility, though I'm running short on time.

Tks!

Thanks again for all the great suggestions. There were many that I liked, all are very creative. We decided that we wanted the name to appeal and be recognized by a young crowd, so we decided <drum roll>:

"Backstreet Snowboys" Now I have to get busy and make a sign.

Here is a daytime picture of the stage and the band along w/ fellow rocker, 'Rockin Santa'.

Thanks for your help!!!!

That looks like you really put a lot of work into it, Joe. It turned out great. I am guessing your kids are in the 11-13 yr old range? I can't wait to see the finished sign. It is a fantastic prop. When you get tired of it you can mail it to me.

Thanks for all the nice words. blush:

JW, I wish my kids were in the 11 -13 year old range; they grow up so quickly. Yea, I'm a bit older than that, as my youngest is 19. OMG where did those years go? But they are a little closer to that age group and were helpful with a name that would appeal to that age group.

Thanks everybody.

Hey Skully, your suggestion "Ice Cold Chili Peppers" or "Frosty's Chili Peppers" were my choice, but I'm just the Dad so my vote doesn't count much.
