Yes ...yes...Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! I got more candy orders yesterday that have to go out monday so I am not venturing into Charlotte for the parade tomorrow but I will watch it on tv. I'm gonna have to work in the afternoon & evening.

Tonight I took the night off......baking pies & cottage dill bread, making cherry yum yum & a broccoli casserole. Gonna try & get a little bit of decorating done tonight...swags up & garland around the ceiling, get the trees in their stands.

It was fun doing a little shopping at the store today...I always love how excited people are during the holidays! Just makes it all fun!

My wish for all of you tomorrow is to: "Eat Till It Ouches!!"

Got the Christmas lights up yesterday.

We have T-Day on Friday due to My wife's mom's bro being a brittle diabetic and in the hospital Wednesday and Thursday. Sooooo, midnight shopping, then back home to cook, then over to the MIL's house.

I'm tired...

Hope every one had a great Thanksgiving! I had a quiet one, but very enjoyable. Had both my kids over, which doesn't happen nearly enough in my book. We ate, chatted, ate, played games, ate some more! And just had a great family time. SickieIckie, hope your BIL is doing better, Well happy (?) black friday to all, and have a great weekend!

Well, it is all over (for almost 24 hrs) and my kitchen is still a mess....don't care!
We brined the turkey, and checked the temp 100 times, yet still had red parts on the dark meat! don't know what I did wrong, but the white meat was the best and juicest I ever had, so it evened out. And it looked good! Oh well...

The spinach gratin was good too....but my stuffing was the hit! Well, next to my neice's apple pie, that is.

We were all happy and full and very thankful. Hope everyone else here was the same.
