Finished Santa's Mailbox

After some work this week I completed my mailbox for Santa. Has anyone else made a mailbox prop? I really just ran with what my vision was and I themed it to my display....I like it. Any one else make one and have pics to share? Chris I know you made one and it is way cool and lights up :)

I like the red mailbox. You can't have "candy cane striping" on everything!!! (I can't even eat an entire candy cane) Looks great as is! :D

Edwin you are totally on to something there. :) I should get a little penguin and have him just sitting on top! I actually have the inside of the mailbox full of candy canes to hand out to those who stop and admire the lights.

Not much more I can say that these guys haven't, its a fantastic addition to your display. I to love the red box and "santa" written on it is a very cute finishing touch. I really like it alot, you did an awesome job on it.

Thanks everyone! It was really fun to build. Every year we enter a lighting contest and our house gets alot of traffic so I figured I should have candy canes to hand out. I figured I would build something to hold them and I thought...oh ya a mailbox. This year I built alot of props to stick out from the rest of the houses. Last year we took 4th place but it was a very honorable placing and really we dont do it to win...we do it for smiles.
