I can suggest a few vendors for controlers. Would be cool to see that mega tree lit up.
www.animatedlighting.com I know Disney uses theirs. They are a little pricy.
http://www.lightorama.com/ I don't have know too much about them but was told they are cheaper.

I was told it was. I don't think they are as expensive as Animated Lighting. Plus Aniamted Lighting are starting to come out with 3 phase controlers which will be able to handle more current. But if everyone uses LEDs, you don't need it.

I was thinking scince this is my first mega tree maybe I will build it 10ft tall, or is that to small?
I was also thinking of animating the tree with one of those cheap light controllers, fond at costco.

10 foot is not too small at all. Or even two 10 footers. It does not have to be animated save money on animation this year and buy more lights then animation will be something to shoot for next year. :)

You can even train little ants to carry sequins up and down the lines next year to save on electricity bills. :)
