I have a 1 1/2 year old boy at home and I want to start the tradition of reading The Night Before Christmas. Does anyone know of a good edition of the book? I am looking for something I can use every year and perhaps even pass down to my child(ren).

Thanks!

Ours is by Clement Clarke Moore Illustrated by Ruth Sanderson. It is very beautifully illustrated, the drawings are more life like than cartoonish. it is the original story. I am hoping to be able to read it to my grandaughter starting this year and will keep it as a family treasure to read to all my grandchildren.

I have a book that I had when I was a kid packed away some where, I loved that book, it was shaped like santa, the santa of the 50's, kinda like the coke santa, and had a fuzzy hat and coat on the front, the art work inside was good, we read it every year, so a good tradition, I read it to my kids too, it is packed away now awaiting grand kids, Rose, a fabulous tradition to start!
