This is aprox 14' long 34" high. It's made of rope lite. I made a frame in 2 sections (one 8' one 6'). Attached to the frame is green garden fence, wrapped and stapled. the rope light is then wire tied to the fencing. I made a paper template for the letters and had that under the fencing as a guide.
One reason for the sections was to be able to get it out of the basement! It now folds onto itself for storage.
Plans are to have this on the roof along the gutter.

Neat idea. The frame looks like a bed frame. Having the rope light be just right had to be a pain!

Looks good Dano!!
That must have been a good size plotter to get the letters that size = NICE!!
Is it heavy? It looks light, but at that size I'm wondering how tough is it to handle?
The corner supports are pretty small, does it tend to rack out of alignment if you're not careful?
Of course my questions are pretty self-serving as my "Merry Christmas" letter sign is beginning to show some age and it's heavy and not as big as yours.
Tks!

Joe,
Not heavy at all. I can handle it myself. Does not rack at all. the fencing material also acts as support.
Edwin,
The snowman was designed for a different roof line, but he may have now been moved to the ground level...
thanks, all...

This and sequencing - every night in front of the TV! Now I have to side-step and get some Halloween things fixed. Modest display.

Great job! It's amazing what you can do with rope light.
