Sickie -- I just saw this on Man vs. Wild!!!!
He said it is quite tasty and has a whole lot of vitamin C, too! Who knew?

I'm guessing the taste is like a menthol water. (?) It's pretty common to do this in boy scouts and girls scouts.

I was in girl scouts, but the closet we got to pine needle tea was "russian" tea...
1 part tang, 1 part instant sweet tea mix, mixed together with hot water.
Now that is good. And no pine needles were involved.

Pine Needles?? Reminds me of my favorite Greek Wine! Mavrodaphne!

Oh man a couple of glasses of that & a fire starts that you can't put out!! Its made with grapes & pine needles.

Yes - it's OK. I wouldn't recommend it for a social gathering :D It tastes alot like how you would imagine pine needles to taste.

They spray christmas trees with poisons for fire, insect repellant, color, etc. right?

I would definately suggest you use pine needles purchased from a reputable herb shop or health food store.
